According to the local news, smoke suddenly started to come out of the Tesla electric car traveling on the Bursa – Istanbul highway. The driver who noticed these fumes pulled the vehicle to the safety lane. He managed to get out of the vehicle.
The car, which suddenly started to catch fire after the driver left the car, turned to ashes in seconds. Upon notification, fire brigades were dispatched to the scene and the burning car was extinguished in a short time. Fortunately, there was no loss of life in the fire. Of course, the automobile became unusable. The exact cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
With the widespread use of electric vehicles, the number of fire incidents is also increasing. Sad events like this can sometimes be caused by user errors or overheating of electronic components in the vehicle. Batteries in vehicles are known as the most common cause of fire outbreak.
